The clues suggesting Kate Middleton is pregnant
Prince William and Kate recently met with fans and well-wishers during their tour of Northern Ireland.
The Duchess of Cambridge sparked rumours that the royal pair plan to try for a fourth child soon despite their youngest son Prince Louis being born less than a year ago.
While meeting adoring fans Kate’s eye was caught by an adorable baby boy being held up by his father.
Speaking to the baby’s father she said: “He’s a very sweet little boy, how old is he?
The father responded that he was five and a half months old and Kate smiled and said it was nice to meet the pair.
She added: “He’s so diddy it makes me very broody.”
Another clue suggesting Kate and Prince William are expecting again came as odds have been slashed on a fourth baby recently.
According to bookies Ladbrokes, odds are currently at 5/2 for the Duchess of Cambridge to announce a pregnancy this year.
Punters have also placed bets at 10/1 for her to give birth this year.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes told Express.co.uk: ”Baby fever may well hit the Royal Family this year with the Duchess of Cambridge the latest name to be linked with a 2019 pregnancy.”
Kate and Prince William may also feel eager to have a fourth baby as Prince William’s brother Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle are currently expecting their first child.
The Duchess recently revealed how excited she was for her children to have a cousin on the way.
During a visit to Leicester University, she said: “It’s such a special time to all have kiddies.
“And a cousin for George and Charlotte as well, and Louis.
“So it will be really special.”
The future King and Queen of England may also want to follow in the current monarch, Queen Elizabeth II’s footsteps by having four children.
Prince Harry’s grandmother is the mother of Charles, Prince of Wales, Anne, Princess Royal, Prince Andrew, Duke of York and Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex.
A royal source has previously told Express.co.uk Kate has always wanted “at least three.”
The source claimed: ”As one of three, Kate wanted at least three.
“William was more reluctant, not just because he was one of two, but because George was quite a difficult baby.
“Then they had Charlotte and she was a lot easier.
“Now the idea of a newborn doesn’t seem half as challenging.”
However, during Kate’s previous pregnancies, she suffered from hyperemesis gravidarum – severe vomiting in pregnancy.
Kate experienced severe nausea, vomiting and dehydration, something which may put her off having a fourth child.
She opened up about the joys and struggles of motherhood an event in London to launch a series of films, by charity Best Beginnings, which aim to support mental health in mothers, in 2017.
She said: “Nothing can really prepare you for the sheer overwhelming experience of what it means to become a mother.
“It is full of complex emotions of joy, exhaustion, love and worry, all mixed together.
“Your fundamental identity changes overnight.
“You go from thinking of yourself as primarily an individual, to suddenly being a mother, first and foremost.”
